Terms And Conditions

1. Payment and Deposit: 

All prices quoted by Little Dove Rentals are valid for 60 days. A 20% non-refundable down payment is required to confirm the booking and reserve your items. Down payment must be paid in full within 7 days of receiving invoice. Little Dove Rentals reserves the right not to keep the items reserved for you until paid fully. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the delivery date. Payment may be via credit/debit card, or bank transfer. Quotes are fee estimates only and are subject to change depending on the circumstances and any changes required by the client. Any additional items or last minute requirements will be invoiced separately. A 10% refundable security deposit (bond) is required. This bond will be added to the final invoice and returned within 3 business days after the collection date pending damage assessment. 

2. Cancellation Policy: 

If the booking is canceled 14 days ahead of the event date, the full hire charge will be repaid to client. If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the event date, 50% of the full hire charge and bond will be repaid to client. All cancellations are to be made in writing by email.

3. Change of Mind Policy:

Changes to hire items are permitted, subject to availability, and must be requested in writing.

  • Large hire items (e.g., Stretch marquee and flooring etc.) can be changed or removed up to 4 weeks before the event date.
  • Smaller hire items (e.g., chairs, firepits, tablecloths etc.) can be changed or removed up to 2 weeks before the event date.
  • Any additions to the order are subject to availability and must be requested as early as possible.
  • No refunds or credit will be issued for removed items if the change request falls outside the specified timeframes.

4. Delivery and Pick Up: 

A quote may be requested for delivery charges and will depend on the delivery location, distance and day of the week. Pickup and return by the client must be during business hours.

5. Damage and Loss: 

The client is responsible for the items from the time of delivery/collection until collection/return by or to Little Dove Rentals. The client agrees and acknowledges that they must pay for all damage to, or loss of the hired items, however caused during that period. Any hired items broken, damaged, lost or stolen will be charged at either the replacement value or the cost of repairs. The bond will be applied to this cost.  

6. Use of Equipment: 

The hired items must only be used for its intended purpose and must be returned in the same condition as when it was hired. The client is responsible for ensuring that the items are used safely and appropriately. All items provided by Little Dove Rentals remain the property of Little Dove Rentals at all times and must be returned at the end of the relevant hire period unless otherwise agreed by Little Dove Rentals in writing.

7. Liability: 

Little Dove Rentals will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury that arises from the use of the items during the hire period.  The client agrees to take out any necessary insurances to cover any events which may give rise to any claim, and to indemnify Little Dove Rentals in connection with any loss, damage or expense suffered by Little Dove Rentals in connection with such events. 

8. Force Majeure:

Little Dove Rentals shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond its reasonable control.
